With Kevin… Wow…haha. She’s still laughing. Wait fuck maybe she’s laughing at me! God, damn Kevin, way to go smart fuck. Her laugh is kind of cute though…wait, no, it is EXTRMELY cute. I looked at my watch. Shit, there’s a sound check with the rest of the band in ten minutes. “Hey um… I don’t think I ever got your name?” What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I shy all of the sudden? “Oh, haha. Sorry. I can totally zone out sometimes. Any ways, I’m Katie” She outstretched her hand. “Nah, it’s alright. God, that laugh was making me putty in her hands. “Ha, sorry. I…um I… well actually, Katie, maybe I’ll see you around?” I tried to confirm my hope. He looked older maybe 20? 22? Some where around that age. “Joe, c’mon, we have a crew sound check in about…” he looked at his watch “…seven minutes. C’mon, say goodbye to the pretty girl and let’s go! NOW!” I could feel my cheeks flush and then become really hot when he said pretty girl. I think Joe noticed because he just kind of stood up and gave the guy a look until he finally left. “Sorry, that’s my older brother Kevin.” Now I can kind of see a resemblance. “Oh that’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” He looked at me and bobbed his head. “So sound check?” I asked with one of those “explain what that was supposed to mean because I am completely lost” voices. He chuckled a little and I saw his lips curl into an adorable smile. “Well, my brothers and I-“ “Wait, you have more than one brother?” I asked. He had officially caught me blindedly. “Well, actually, I have three other brothers, Frankie is the youngest, nick is sixteen, then there’s Kevin, the guy that just walked in here, well he’s twenty-one.” He finished taking in a deep breath. “Oh, well how old is Frankie? He sounds like a totally cutie!” I was all the sudden giddy and I could tell that he noticed. “Children tend to have that affect on me. I’m sorry.” Great Jess, now he probably thinks you’re a freak! “Haha, that’s fine. Same with me though, whenever I’m with Frank the Tank, I turn into the same eight-year old he is.” “Oh he’s at the cootie age! That’s got to be exciting” “It is…it really is haha” Man, he needs to stop smiling. If he continues, he’s going to kill me. Just then, Kevin came through the door again and he seemed really agitated. I decided I didn’t want Joe in any more trouble so I decided to leave but politely. “Well, I better go Joe, thanks again for being my hero haha wow that was so corny. Good luck with the gig?” I wanted to make sure he’d be out on the stage tonight and not one of the groupies. He nodded. “Ok cool. I’ll be watching. Bye.” And with that, I walked back out to the bar and decided to grab a seat near the back, instead of up close to the stage. Rated RJoe's POV..................................Last day on this wonderful island and then back to reality. I wonder if anybody even misses us. We walked every inch of this island. We couldn't of had a better honeymoon, but sadly that has to come to an end. Before it does I have one more surprise for her before we leave tomorrow. Our dinner came to us as it has for the last couple of days. We ate and then had dessert. We talked for a little and then when I realized my surprise was all ready I lead her outside, blindfolded.
