episodes at 10:00pm ET nightly and reruns at various times on the cable
television network HGTV. It premiered in 1999. House Hunters was originally
hosted/narrated by Suzanne Whang. In 2008, the show was narrated by Colette
Whitaker. Narration again changed hands in 2009 with Andromeda Dunker, and is
now hosted with Suzanne Whang on camera. The program follows individuals,
couples, or families searching for a new home with the assistance of a realtor.
Each broadcast features three properties, one of which is selected by the
prospective buyer, whose offer generally is accepted by the seller. In the final
moments of the show, the new owner provides a tour of the house, revealing what
changes and/or improvements if any were made after moving in. Although billed as
a reality show, producers often recruit buyers who are already in escrow with
the house of their choice. The other two homes that are filmed are shown to
fulfill the selection process but are often homes that the buyers may have never
seen. One participant in the show stated, "The show is not really a reality
show. You have to already own the house that gets picked at the end of the show.
But the other houses in the show are actually the other houses we considered

hosted by Phillip Westwick, a former male model who is the romantic partner of
star TF1 newscaster Claire Chazal. Three men and three women are sequestered in
separate wings of the house, unable to have any conversation or contact with the

reality show documentary about the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's campaign
against Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary off the coast of
Antarctica. The Japanese claim that their whaling is legally accepted research,
which Sea Shepherd and others contend is a cover for banned commercial whaling.
Sea Shepherd has been both criticized and praised for tactics of direct action
sabotage which include throwing stink bombs of butyric acid as well as ramming,
boarding, and otherwise attempting to disable the Japanese vessels. The program
premiered on November 7, 2008, on the Animal Planet cable channel and follows
events on the vessel Steve Irwin as the group attempts to deter the hunting of
